The mighty Mip, seen at right with her power trio last January at The Opera House, will be my guest at 5:30. With her Holiday Hoedown in Parkdale coming up at 9:00PM Friday, Dec 14 @ Lounge (1384 Queen St W) she has lots of Tinsel Bell Tingles ready to share. 
And with the seasonal discomfort of religious propriety soon to be imposing its various celebrations upon us, Sam Broverman will be arriving, at 6:00, with his bag full of lampoons, satires and broadsides aimed squarely at the politically defectively correct, all contained in his new disk, A Jewish Boy's Christmas, launching Sunday, Dec. 16, 7PM at The Jazz Bistro.
