The 19th annual Canadian Folk Music Awards will take place April 4-7, 2024, in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Many of the nominees have had a prominent place in my Orbital programming over the last year, and below are a few that have been on the show regularly and in person, some for a decade and more. A tight race is anticipated in many categories as talent and inspiration continue to overflow in the Canadian musical community.
