Surrender To Serenity: Ethereal Forces Converge On The Orbital Flight path

Debbie Fleming has long been winging her way through major spheres of harmonic influence, making good music better in the jazz, classical and pop modes. Her vital presence will be at the center of a seasonal convocation at Grace Church On-The-Hill this coming Sunday. She will in the Orbital window at 5:15 Friday to chat about her earthly mission, and her recent Bacharach / David CD as well.

Jadea Kelly has crossed many horizons over the past decade or so, but her new, pivotal album, Love & Lust, has her nominated for Contemporary Singer Of The Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. The disk is drenched with moods and tones that define a new and romantic stance that could easily be categorized as Alt-Lust. Or Alt-Love. Is there a difference?
Find out at 6:00.

And in the Vocal Group of The Year category, Saskatoon-agers Rosie & The Riveters have already displayed such considerable vocal heft and lyrical smarts on their album Good Clean Fun, that R&R Memz Alexis and Allyson will be guaranteed to provide riveting conversation  at 6:30. I am already sorry I wrote that.
