A Little More Drums

Blue Moon Marquee On Corby's Orbit

Thoroughly rinsed in jazz and blues, Blue Moon Marquee will be hanging out some fresh tunes on the Orbital clothesline at around 6:00 this Friday. With romping stomps abounding and a Gypsy Blue mystique, this salubrious Alberta  duo promises the Sweet, the Lowdown, and a stop at Annette Studio later that evening, as part of their Lonesome Ghosts tour.

At this point I went out to welcome Julian Taylor, whose band is at the Horseshoe Wednesday at 9:00. His new album Tech Noir is excellent, btw.  NEW DISK

The door unexpectedly locked behind me and the rest was...silence.

We rescheduled Julian for August.

Don Kerr, who is at Hugh's Room Wednesday 23 July with his band, Communism and Ben Sures phoned in to chat. I couldn't answer the call.

Apologies all `round.
