On Thursday evening, at T.O.'s hippest vinyl flagship, SONIC BOOM, Winnipegger Boy Golden galvanized an audience of fifty of the faithful, plus label execs from Six Shooter, many of whom sang along, with a dinnertime solo performance of songs from his most excellent recent recording, Best Of Our Possible Lives. He brought the tunes to life on a sonorous and sparkling Guild twelve-string, offered personal stories about the songs and sang requests and deep cuts from his four-album catalogue. He returns with his band, to the Mod Club, in November.
