Friday's show promises an early harvest of Toronto-bound artists from places that can only be connected orbitally.
From Cape Breton Island,
Mike McKenna Jr. will be in early to play some thoughtful tunes from his new E.P. Travellin' Man. Mike is playing the Barbara Hall Park concert series Sunday, Sept 4 in Toronto @7:00 p.m at the north-west corner of the park.
Fin de Fiesta Flamenco from Seville will be presenting their new production "Audacia" at the Winchester Street Theatre on Sep 9. They are led by artistic director and dancer Lia Grainger and accompanied by guitarist Dennis Duffin, who will join us, along with Lara Wong (flautist) and Alejandro Mendia (singer) at 5:40 for some fiery flamenco and musical convo. Last year's performance sold out, fyi, btw.
